The Madison Advertising Federation Foundation was created to provide educational funds for worthy journalism, marketing and advertising students and to support education and research in the field of advertising. Scholarships are awarded annually to students selected from higher education institutions including; UW Madison, Madison College (MATC), Edgewood College and Madison Media Institute.

Each year, the Madison Advertising Federation Foundation, part of the American Advertising Federation, awards up to $5,000 in scholarships to worthy Madison area undergraduate students.

The MAF Foundation would like to assist students studying in the areas of advertising, public relations, commercial art, communication arts, or marketing who have at least one semester remaining after this current semester.

Three trustees are appointed by the AAF Madison Board of Directors to oversee the actions of the foundation. Current trustees are Michael Knapstein, Georgia Roeming and Bill Kennedy.
